Family daycare

The most important benefit of family daycare is the overall home-like atmosphere. The key activities in family daycare are playing, spending time outdoors, exploring the environment, doing crafts and engaging in other similar activities.

A municipal family daycare provider is allowed to have at most four children of different ages in full-time care, and one preschool or school-aged child in part-day care. The daycare provider prepares food for the children, and the children can participate in small chores around the house.
