Kitee Upper Secondary School has a choir led by music teacher Tuula Tiainen. The choir performs at school events taking place during the academic year. In addition, the students have an opportunity to take part in a band course during their studies at Kitee Upper Secondary School. Current and former students of the upper secondary school are also involved in the Sweet Panic steel pan orchestra, which practices in the school facilities and performs at many school functions.
