Kitee offers an extensive network of ski trails

Ski trails starting at the Hutsi Sports Centre provide skiers with challenging experiences. Easier ski trails with relatively even terrain can be found in Peltola in Kitee, at Lake Kiteenjärvi and in the surroundings of Sortolampi in Kesälahti.

Instructions for appropriate ski trail conduct. In the winter, when the weather permits, cross-country ski trails are made on the ice on Lake Kiteenjärvi.
